About Us

The Arlington Trolley is managed by the Arlington Entertainment Area Management District (AEAMD). A local government entity created under state law, AEAMD is legally and functionally separate from any other governmental unit. It is not a department or arm of the City of Arlington, Texas. It has its own office and governing body. The District's operations are financed by an assessment against hotel properties located within the District. Guests staying at these hotel properties do not pay a fare or a fee to take advantage of this service.

  • Trolley service is provided only to registered guests of select hotels within the Arlington Entertainment District, and serves Arlington's signature attractions within the I-30 entertainment corridor.
  • The Trolley does not provide a stop-on-demand transit service outside the scope of its predetermined routes and stops.
  • Riders may be asked to present their hotel key upon boarding.
  • Our trolleys are wheelchair-accessible.

If you have any questions or comments about the Arlington Trolley, please contact us.

 Using Our Trolley System
Minimize
The Arlington Trolley system has been created to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation between participating hotels and attractions in Arlington.

Our service is successful in part because our riders take ownership of the rules and regulations designed to maintain the system.

Use of the Arlington Trolley is subject to these conditions:

  • A pass issued by a participating hotel must be displayed by every rider 13 years of age or older.
  • The pass is valid only for registered guests of issuing hotels during guests' stay at the hotel.
  • The pass may not be transferred or used by any person other than guest to whom it was issued.
  • The pass may be confiscated and the holder denied trolley use if these conditions are violated.
  • No child under age 13 may ride a trolley unless accompanied by an adult responsible for the child.
  • The transit operator accepts no responsibility for delays, losses, damages or injury to persons or property, including personal property left on a transit vehicle.
  • No alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed on any transit vehicle.
  • No animals are allowed on board other than guide dogs for sight-impaired guests.
  • Take your hotel key with you - you may be asked to present your hotel key upon boarding.

Trolley service is limited to registered guests of hotels participating in the Arlington Entertainment Area Management District and serves Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Cowboys Stadium, Arlington Convention Center, and Arlington Visitor Information Center.
